El presidente de Irán, Masud Pezeshkian, afirmó este martes que ha terminado la guerra de 12 días que Israel lanzó sobre el país persa, horas después de la entrada en vigor del alto el fuego propuesto por el presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump.
Desde que Israel inició su ataque militar contra Irán el 13 de junio, ambos países habían intercambiado regularmente ataques con drones y misiles que han dejado al menos 450 personas muertas en Irán y al menos 28 en Israel, según las autoridades de ambos países.
Las tensiones escalaron todavía más en la región cuando Estados Unidos bombardeó tres instalaciones clave del programa nuclear iraní el pasado domingo, e Irán respondió ayer lunes con un ataque contra las bases militares estadounidenses en Qatar e Irak, que ya habían sido evacuadas.
Hacia las 10:30 de la mañana (hora local) y con el alto el fuego en vigor, el Ejército israelí registró el lanzamiento de dos misiles desde Irán, algo que Teherán ha negado. Tras ello, la aviación israelí bombardeó un radar a las afueras de la capital persa, si bien el primer ministro, Benjamín Netanyahu, ha asegurado que se abstendrá de lanzar más ataques si Irán respeta la tregua.
