En lo que fue el primer fin de semana de reactivación de algunos bares luego de cuatro meses cerrados por la contingencia sanitaria del COVID-19 se registró una buena afluencia de clientes a pesar de las pocas expectativas que se tenían por las condiciones económicas en general. Personal del área de Control de Padrones de la Secretaría de Finanzas de Coahuila y del área de Inspección y Verificación del Municipio de Torreón realizaron operativos para vigilar que se cumplieran los protocolos establecidos en la Nueva Normalidad, motivo por el cual se clausuraron algunos establecimientos que no cumplieron. El gerente del bar La Solana manifestó que las disposiciones de las autoridades son trabajar al 50 por ciento de la capacidad, que las mesas estén a una distancia de dos metros entre una y otra, que no estén más de 6 personas en cada mesa, que ofrezcan el servicio de restaurante-bar, los clientes deben portar cubrebocas y aplicarse gel antibacterial cada cierto tiempo. "Vamos muy lento, esto no es fácil porque para la gente también la situación no es fácil, pero al menos ya nos dan la oportunidad de que ganemos algo", declaró.
