Arrestan a 'indignados' en Wall Street

La policía ha reforzado los turnos con mil agentes para controlar las protestas.
Los 'indignados' tienen pensado la "ocupación del metro" a través de diferentes concentraciones en dieciséis estaciones del suburbano neoyorquino.
Los actos de movilización para lo que el movimiento ha calificado como "Día de Acción" se extenderán por toda la ciudad a lo largo del día.
El aniversario del segundo mes de "Ocupa Wall Street" se produce tan solo dos días después de que Bloomberg ordenara desalojar el campamento instalado por los "indignados" en la plaza Zuccotti desde el pasado 17 de septiembre, una operación en la que se detuvieron a unas doscientas personas, entre ellas el concejal Ydanis Rodríguez.
Los trabajadores de un banco observaron a los asistentes a un acto de protesta del movimiento "Occupy Wall Street" cerca de la Bolsa de Nueva York, Estados Unidos.
Algunos de los manifestantes que se acercaban a esta hora a la plaza Zuccotti, desalojada por orden del alcalde, Michael Bloomberg, portan pancartas con mensajes como: "Arrest one of us, and two more will appear" ("Deten a uno de nosotros, y dos más aparecerán"), o "You cannot arrest an idea" ("Las ideas no pueden arrestarse").
"Hoy es un día de celebración, un recordatorio de lo fuerte que es este movimiento", explicó un portavoz del movimiento.
Los manifestantes se habían propuesto como objetivo "tomar" la sede de Wall Street para interrumpir el inicio de las operaciones pero un fuerte despliegue policial impidió acercarse al lugar a quien no presentara una identificación para certificar que trabaja en la Bolsa de Valores.
La detención fue en el marco de la jornada de protestas cuando se cumplen dos meses del pulso del movimiento a las grandes corporaciones.
Al menos setenta simpatizantes de "Ocupa Wall Street" fueron detenidos por la policía durante los enfrentamientos ocurridos en el corazón del distrito financiero.
