La violencia política que vive Kenia desde hace días está tomando una dimensión de enfrentamiento entre las etnias y algunas comunidades han buscado refugio en las comisarias de policía.
Un hombre huye con sus hijos después de que el conflicto entre diferentes tribus se desatase en Nairobi, Kenia.
El presidente keniata Mwai Kibaki prometió 'actuar con decisión' con los disturbios que han sacudido el país desde que anunción que había sido reelegido.
El contexto es delicado ya que los kenianos siguen sin reconocer la victoria de Mwai Kibaki.
El panorama de tensión contrasta con el civismo ejemplar con el que los kenianos fueron a votar.
Policías se disponen a ayudar a un hombre, sentado en el suelo sangrando de la cabeza, brazos y manos, después de que grupos violentos atacaran a la gente quemando casas y comercios en el barrio marginal de Mathare.
Cuerpos sin identificar, presuntamente de personas que han sido asesinadas tras los violentos episodios vividos después de las elecciones.
El ejército consiguió mantener a raya a los dos clanes.
Miles de seguidores del Partido de Unidad Nacional (PNU) del presidente Mwai Kibaki y del Movimiento Democrático Naranja (ODM), de Raila Odinga, protagonizaron violentos enfrentamientos en Nairobi y Mombasa.
